Diamanda Galas - Litanies Of Satan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Th1hLNoOjn4

not metal, but psychotic and evil! Her music spans many genres, blues, jazz, experimental, she even did an album with John Paul Jones from Zeppelin. Her Litanies Of Satan LP will either make you run away or listen in awe.

Incantation - Onward To Golgotha

mix Autopsy and Profanatica together, record it in a deep cave where human sacrifice is performed, and you have this stunning debut! i'm not totally sold on the last 2 Incantation albums due to them missing the echoey and dark atmospheres of the earlier works, but this album is a classic slab on evil.

Shostakovich - String quartet no. 8 Mov. 2

Pendereski - Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima

Early Power Electronics stuff. For example Whitehouse-Birthdeath Experience.
And of course the ancient gods like Bathory.

Mercyful Fate's Don't Break the Oath is one of the most evil albums ever.

Also:

Deathspell Omega - Fas
Satyricon - Nemesis Divina
Necromantia - Scarlet Evil, Witching Black

Early Necromantia, definitely. Also Famine from New Jersey have a very sinister vibe.

Getting to see Penderecki conduct 'Threnody...' and a few other pieces in London on wednesday. Cannot wait.

A metal answer to the question as this is a metal forum - Morbid Angel's 'Altars...' and 'Abominations...' Bathory's 'The Return' and the first Mortuary Drape EP and LP.
