| Really!? I've always known what it really means. To put it bluntly most of it is shite in my opinion, which is not what I would expect from the so-called 'supreme race'. One or two bands are quite good musically. |

yes, really. maybe i heard what it really means and forgot it/laughed it off or just always assumed NS was for new school.
yeah, i like GBK, but was saddened to hear that they aligned themselves with those FUCKING RETARDS. i'm not sure if any other bands i dig fly the flag and i'm not sure that i wanna know. although the idea of giving dorks like that my money does pain me. |

Anyway, I can totally understand the concept of National Socialist Metal, but throwing the word 'Black' in their is a gigantic fucking oxymoron. It's like saying Dr. George W. Bush or something equally absurd. |

I would say with metal it is an almost anarchist form of music. Not in the sense that we are ultra liberal or whatever, but more because its about living for yourself and trying not to conform to society's norms. In that NSBM is not a contradiction. However considering metal is from what I can gather, an anti-conformist form of music, I find it weird there are bands out there that give Mein Kampf an almost Bible like status.
Really if you want to be part of something which tells you what to think then you're best off becomming a Christian. |

Der Stürmer is the best in my opinion. The guys behind the band are 100% serious with their beliefs, as well, and see D.S. mainly as a way to spread their propaganda. They live their beliefs essentially. It's great to see a band that worships National Socialism and then, on top of it, have decent music.
Veles is a favorite of mine, as well: especially the demo. Fullmoon is another band that should be mentioned, I think. |
