Ah, so it's Limbonic Art, which explains why the photograph seemed vaguely familiar, because while I am aware of Limbonic Art, their music never even remotely appealed to me (as does most primarily keyboard-based black metal); so they are probably one of the most recognised bands in black metal which I know next to nothing about. 
Perhaps I should look into them again. |

Though I like all their recordings, I would recommend you start from the beginning and onwards. Best demos ever, and their debut album Moon In The Scorpio is flawless. Never been into symphonic bands myself, but somehow this band is just perfect to me.

Never heard the demos but there is something about Moon in the Scorpio which is just fantastic. As far as keyboard laden black metal goes, this is one that shouldn't be overlooked. |

Yes, "Moon in the Scorpio" is brilliant - and I am normally not a fan of keyboards either.
