I caught that drip, and it was good.
Album cover is probably more significant than the music though in the long term. Good music don't get me wrong, but it's not a band I think of pulling out very often for repeated listens for some reason. |
I wouldn't have time to listen to music either if I were posting 100 comments daily on this forum. |
So you cannot listen to music and type at the same time ? Hmm. That is limiting. Sorry about your handicap. |

hahaha,
but I generally agree with Demoniarch, I think I like Nightbringer in theory more than in practice. Some of the stuff kind of drags, I thought less so on Apocalypse Sun though, so hopefully the new one has more concise songs. _________________ Wants/Trades: http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=275935#275935

Thirded. Apocalypse Sun was the strongest to date, but from what I've heard of it, I think Hierophany will be even better. _________________ The sweetest sweet scent of their fresh let blood

I still think DatBW is the best to date. The new one is damn close though. _________________ Hell mouth salvation |

who will put this new one on vinyl? i did not notice on the site provided.
i think this is a monument of a recording.
anyone whom doubts this new stuff should listen to "the gnosis of inhumation"
the build up to the end and everything about the ending in this track is inspiring. _________________ long live death |

Listened to the leak today at work, I thought it was great. Nothing distracted from the music like the drums on Apocalypse Sun. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

i asked one of the guitarists about this when i saw them last month. he said season of mist doesn't have any plans for it. too bad. it really is a great fucking album and the artwork deserves the vinyl presentation if nothing else. _________________

indeed. they should have done like acrimonious and gone to agonia after the ajna offensive. agonia is going to put purulence on vinyl as well as acrimonious's upcoming album. i thought it a bit of a surprise purulence hasn't gotten much attention at all. i don't know if it's lack of promotion from ajna or what but that album is killer and i never hear anyone speak of it. _________________

Quite overlooked band, indeed. Their name did receive some attention but not as much as it probably should. For example, Nuclear Winter had their previous EP on special offers for quite a long time (it was a 3 euro offer if I remember correctly) and I felt very surprised this wasn't sold out until recently since both tracks are STELLAR. One of my really favorite 7"s. The album is definitely a step up though from anything they've released in the past. |

Strange no one else has come forward wanting to release these on vinyl.
I did find it a little odd that when they were on Ajna that last album from the label did not get a vinyl treatment, doesn't Ajna generally do LP and CD for all their albums ? ...or so it seems anyways.
Maybe there's just too much going on for the most part to continue releasing all this stuff on multiple formats, considering the current economic states of many places these days, not enough copies are selling fast enough maybe ? |

Honestly, I don't think Apocalypse Sun sold that well for them to press a vinyl version. That backlash on the drum sound really hurt sales I think when it leaked. If you go to Ajna's website it still says it has 912 copies of the CD. I wish they did press it, though.
Still trying to digest this new one, but I do like what I hear. |
