Don't forget the early Samael influence, too, it's rather obvious in the overall triumphant, striding mood and flow of the track. After a few listens and losing most of my initial scepticism, this is very much to my liking. Great potential, that's for sure. It really does remind somewhat of a cross between Samael, era "Worship Him" and "Blood Ritual", and Beherit's "Drawing Down the Moon".
This bands seems to have affiliations to Sperm of Antichrist of which I've never heard before - are SoA equally good and similar in style? |
