Verminous second album: The Unholy Communion
"Eight years since the debut album "Impious Sacrilege", VERMINOUS is finally back rape mother earths womb, once more, with the sophomore album "The Unholy Communion".
The studio is booked for August 2011 and ten new songs will be recorded to ravage the congregation of christ!
Some titles from the new album are:Keepers of chaos, Hordes Of Vermin, Iesus Nazarenus Rex Insecta.
This is my body, this is my blood, happy are they who come to Verminous supper!"

... and you are right with that.
The Verminous cd was released some years before the widespread re-discovery of "the sounds of old" so that may be a reason why there is no widespread praise for them. Only few interviews, no cool and morbid looking pics, there you go...
Very high expectations here a well!

Repugnant and Verminous plays exactly in the same league.
In fact, Repugnant were a total unknown band 2 years ago, but you know...
they're suffering the new "underground" trend: Ghost sucks, Tobias Forge is the antichrist, so Repugnant sucks as well...

Hard to believe they were like 17 when they recorded the 1st 7"
there is such a sens of mastery in their music, and maturity like "ok fellows, we totally know what Death Metal is about, let us show you how it's supposed to be played"
but then their youth may explain the FRANTIC energy and power they propagate
it's like they're on speed or something
with MASTERFUL riffs and flawless in your face drums... Aaargh
I prefer the full length because of the production which is so powerful
