I'm looking for stuff in the vein of the first Venom LP, the first Bathory LP and early Bulldozer stuff.
Please recommend me anything! Just as long as I am able to get their music in one way or another....
thanks |

Pentagram from Chile. Cyclone Empire should be doing a reissue of their complete discography (or so I've heard).
As far as new stuff goes, check out Force of Darkness (also from Chile). Their self-titled full length is awesome. The only thing that bugs the piss out of me is the damn packaging it comes in. |

Warhorde. You can listen to two songs from the Satanic Lust full-length at http://www.thebasar.org/NorthAmerica/ (I'm fairly certain this will satisfy your old school craving for an early Venom/Bathory fix). _________________ "Order From Chaos, this band knows how to metal and they know how to satan and they most definitely know how to arghgh. It dosen't suck dick and thats why faggots don't like them. I have entered the stillbirth machine, I suggest you cum too." |

the first two RUNNING WILD albums are the epitome of Black/Speed metal. It doesn't get any more Metal than that actually. Listen to "Gates to Purgatory" and "Branded and Exiled" immediately. |

Fuck yeah, that RUNNING WILD footage is killer. "Gates to Purgatory" is a perfect Metal album, one of the best. "Branded in Exile" was good, but a step down.
After that, they became complete shit of course. "Under Jolly Roger" is one of the gayest records ever recorded and I can't believe how many people like that pile of shit. |

An obvious one: NIFELHEIM (mainly due to references to early-VENOM/BATHORY) _________________ Good traders: 0%cured, Cutterofgums, s.charlach, peterott, ins88, Mysticus, HELLTHRASHER, CR99 |

Hm...maybe Zwartketterij from Belgium.
Newer band, slight traces of retro-ism and a little bit tongue in cheek (no parody though) but actually pretty good music.
I am no expert in this genre at all but I ´d say they are worth checking out. _________________ A nobody in a world of somebodies.

I was going to say these exact words. Sometimes the obvious is just mandatory. I guess that's why it's obvious in the first place.
Wasn't Destroyer 666 calling them selfs "Black Speed Metal" or something alone these lines? Unchain the Wolves was fucking great, but what followed has been pretty lackluster and largely uninteresting. |

Yeah "Unchain the wolves" remains their best album to date _________________ Good traders: 0%cured, Cutterofgums, s.charlach, peterott, ins88, Mysticus, HELLTHRASHER, CR99 |
