Listening to Voidwards for the first time in a while. What a deranged band, their earlier albums could use a proper reissue. What are these folks up to now?

Annti Haapapuro does a lot of really good dark ambient stuff like Halo Manash and Arktau Eos. What I heard of one of Dolorian's albums didn't interest me too greatly, but I'll go back and give 'em another try.

I love how the "clean" guitar parts on their first album have an almost "out of tune" eeriness to them.

Start with "Voidwards" and work backwards I would suggest. Though the other two albums, "When the Laughter Has Gone" especially, are damn good too.

Easily the most bizarre, chilling guitar sound I can think of. Gives Evoken a run for their money for certain.

A severely underrated band with a flawless discography..

Everything they did is great but the debut album has a very special place in my heart.. Twisted as fuck

Dolorian is awesome! Voidwards is my favorite followed by the debut, and the self titled last. I really hope they release some new stuff, but haven;t heard a peep for years. Wish i had made it to see halo manash when they were out here, but I was not sure I could deal with the scene at the Stella Natura fest.

That would have been a potentially awesome/weird time. I need to hear more Halo Manash

Yes, very good band worthy of more praise. Especially 'When All the Laughter Has Gone', although all albums are great!

Agreed, "All the Laughter..." is a great album. The S/T was ok, but I never bothered to check out Voidwards. After reading this thread I'm guessing I should.

"When All the Laughter Has Gone" definitely deserves a proper vinyl treatment.
