Hey guys,
Im new here.
Wanted to share some bands with you.

Nefast - Dogma

https://nefast.bandcamp.com/

sound like if black metal was invented in 70s,
reminds me a bit of Oranssi Pazuzu, otherwise
really captivative and hypnotizing.
their older stuff is rather insignificant, but now
it seems like this is shaping into something really rare!

Bovist - Mycologist

https://bovist.bandcamp.com/releases

anonymous project also from Netherlands,
not easy to listen to, but it still somehow
keeps my attention
these guys are apparently in love with shrooms.

--------------------

otherwise I listen to mostly contemporary atmospheric/raw bm bands so any newest recommendaions are great.

also heard guys from VORDEs been cooking up some good shit lately, Mike told me theyve got like 6 songs finished and its gonna be some insane stuff, cant wait for that

Also Mescalin Massacre and Angst Skvadron come to my head but I didn't listen much from them.

Outstanding VTTA release, highly recommended.

I would say VIRUS, but I am not sure if they are labeled as "psychedelic".

If not VIRUS try this (Croatian band POGAVRANJEN):

thanks guys, VTTA is a really nice find.
I listen to Mescalin Massacre from time to time, too bad about the split up.
But that Angst Skvandron is a surprise!

Reminded me a bit of Australian side project Clasp.
But only considering aesthetics, its rather electronic & raw bm

I also desperately cant wait for some new stuff either from Ephemer or
Erraunt..

Is it just me or is it that bands who do not call themselves psychedelic sound more psychedelic than psychedelic bm?

This is definitely true. Black Metal in general is very "psychadelic" to me, but for many that term merely means certain cliche effects or whathaveyou of the classic psych rock period.

Branikald's "Blikk Av Kald" is an intensely psychedelic album.
The old lithuanian stuff falls in this category for me too. Anubi, Valefar, Poccolus, etc.

of course there are bm bands that are psychedelic itself but then
there are bands like Oranssi Pazuzu which stand for the whole subgenre..
with their druggy influence..
or this band from Cascadian mountains for example, I like their weird sound:

He actually played yesterday in Prague.
But I was at work and the venue wasnt really good.
The mic broke down and he actually played his side project
Ljáin and that one didn´t really get me..

Armanenshaft for sure!

Arkha Sva is quite fitting i think. Furze on Necromanzee Cogent is much more psychedelic than his boring 70ties worship on later albums. SVEST "Urfaust" is also there i think..

Totally fucking agreed! The best bm is transcendental and lawless and doesn't need to be labelled as "psychedelic". When I see this in release blurb I stay the fuck away as I assume it's some weak bullshit for modern day pseudos.

Spot on. Woe J Reaper put out some fucked up shit for sure. Powerful and insane!

I'd add RfR and Lust in here alongside lo-fi Silver Key madness. Noxius Nex' second demo also has a similar fucked up feel to it and is highly recommended.
