Spoiler Alert for all those who haven't received theirs yet: the box doesn't fit on an Expedit shelf.

Fits perfectly in mine.

Did you have to crush the box to make it fit? They don't fit in normal Expedit shelves.

No. It's snug, but I don't have to force it at all. It also fits with the outer sleeve.

I wouldn't recommend doing that. It could scrape the ink off the box over time.

The shelf is only coming in contact with the silver edges on the lid and the bottom of the box. It's not touching the top of the shelf at all. I'll store it in the outer sleeve as well.

Why store it like that in the first place? Looks ill-placed and all.. Stuff the box under your bed instead, and store the records symmetrical to the rest of your vinyls. Atleast it looks representable that way..

I wonder how many people who bought the die hard version will actually listen to the LPs?

Also why is it that people who cry about missing the die hard version is not buying the regular version? The regular version has all of the essential material from the early days.
High Roller Records did a really nice re-issue a few years back with Moyen cover art - had all the early ep's / singles and the EVIL (venom cover tracks) material - the Maiden material has never been released - wonder what the sound quality is ? I figure its horrible?

The audio for all previous releases of the first five 7"s were taken from vinyl. The audo for the boxset is taken from the actual reels. The boxset contains a lot more stuff than the HRR release.

I love Moyen and all but that cover was atrocious with bad photoshop effects galore.
My die hard arrived today and first thing I noticed was it weighed a ton.. The packaging was amazing-buffer spacer-plastc bags-giant ziploc bag for the Records - Yosuke is the Pablo Picasso of packing. . The book is amazing. .I love the original art and the markers. Half the records are warped and that just bad luck but I will stack the book on top in the box and father time will take care of it.. no biggie..... I don't have the originals. ..just had the high roller and Bolivia dc with shifty sound.. I heard first lp and it sounds amazing. This is the definitive reissue.

My die hard showed today. Flawless. The attention to detail is (pardon the inside reference, but...) beyond beyond. All art/material top notch. All the LPs shipped outside the jackets? I guess that was easier than slipping them all in, but still...nice touch. 4 LPs & 5 beers in, volume UP. 1/4 of the way through the book, laughing my ass off, sleeves off, patches on...ha.

Hails to all involved with this.

You need to be like any other sane individual and remove the contents from the box, put the records in your Expedit, the book/timeline on your coffee table, and fill the box with your favorite variety of cookies.

When you get to the sixth beer, please take out the timeline and read the bio and make sure it all makes sense. E-mail YK with any questions you might have.

Can you take photos and email them to me? nwnprod@gmail.com
I have some extra LPs so i can replace them if they're really bad. I also need to show it to the factory.
