First I have to say, that this is a modern classic to me. What an incredible release !!!!!
Well, I have the DLP version of it. At the begin of the 2nd track the sound fades out extremely on my left speaker and doesn't come back to normal volume then.
Is that with all copies or is it just mine ? I doubt that it has something to do with my system, as I never had similar problems. _________________

I agree, this album is a total masterpiece and has hardly left my turn table since late December. Probably the best present a girlfriend could give;)
I haven't had any sound problems with it, maybe its a dodgy press? _________________ INTO THE DRAPE.. |

| My copy does the same thing. I think Ajna fixed the problem on the CD version since it says "remastered." It's still a great album. |

I was told the remastering was done because "They seemed to think the last song sounded a bit "off". Otherwise a few typos were corrected in the layout" |

That could very well be it, I was just speculating. |

Since last year I have the CD. Really awesome. Last night I ordered the DLP from here.
I have read this to be described as Old School, I normally dont here this type of BM, can anyone recommend a similar band?
Regards. |

Bands I would attempt to compare them to would have to be Mortuary Drape, Necrovore, early Morbid Angel, early Tiamat etc.. _________________ INTO THE DRAPE.. |

Thanks for the comments about my problem so far. But I guess that nobody knows for sure if there's a known problem with the press ?
Well, I will pick up another one of these to have something like a proof.
Hard to compare NP with other bands. I would say somewhere between earliest Samael and early Schizo. Now beat me for that...haha. You can hear a lot of influences - that's it maybe... _________________

I dont think its possible to find something that reminds of Negative Plane, its like most great bands unique.
Someone told me that it sounds like a cross between Furze and Celtic Frost, I dont know thoug, since I doesnt listen much to those bands. |
