We printed high quality hoodies, girlies and longsleeve. To keep this newsletter short, you can view photos and descriptions of all designs and items on www.heidenshart.nl. Pre-orders were sent last week, thank you all very much for your support!! The number of pre-orders for this merch as well as the new album has been quite overwhelming and quite surreal in this age of illegal downloading. Good to see there is still support for underground labels and bands, keep up the good work, spread the word and thanks again for the support!

During 2013, there will be some looooooong requested re-releases, as well as tape- and vinylversions from the previous albums - finally! First up is "Westfälisch Schlachtenlärm" CD; more detailed info coming later!

HEIMDALLS WACHT 'Westfälischer Schlachtenlärm' CD
OUT NOW. This is the sound of nostalgia and authenticity - the album that started it all! "Westfälischer Schlachtenlärm" was originally never intended as a first album, but as a demorecording. Yet still, the first press was sold out instantly. After many requests, this first call out of the Westphalian woods by Heimdalls Wacht is now finally available again. For this edition, the sound has been slightly improved, but don't expect a big theatrical production for this re-release: the album remains as primal, spontaneous and primitive as it was meant and recorded back then; yet, it sounds better than ever! Two out of three bonustracks that appeared on the limited LP-edition of the album, have also been included on this new CD-edition. All in all, this is meant to be a slightly updated face of the album; instead of a completely reworked edition which has nothing to do with the original (and which will never happen). All layout of the 12 page booklet have been kept mostly the same, except liner notes by Saruman about the history of Heimdalls Wacht and this recording are included! 10 euro.

Heimdalls Wacht sucht neuen Gitarristen / Bassisten

In erster Linie für Liveauftritte wird ein neuer Musiker gesucht, der die Besetzung komplettiert.
Bekannterweise spielt HW nicht oft live – folglich muss nicht mit längeren Toureskapaden oder wöchentlichen Auftrittsmarathons gerechnet werden. Absichtlich verlassen wir mit diesem Gesuch das Umfeld unserer eigenen Kontakte.

Voraussetzungen:
Live-/Bühnenerfahrung
Angemessenes Equipment
Charaktereigenschaften wie Zuverlässigkeit, Loyalität, Kenntnisse/Interesse zu/an HW-relevanten Themen, Hingabe
Nicht zwingend notwendig, aber logistisch einfacher wäre ein Wohnort in NRW. Im Zweifel zählen für uns aber andere Dinge.
