Can never figure these goddamn things out... I am the buyer. Case header reads 'Requiring your action'. When I click 'Respond', it says 'Status: The seller has responded to our request for tracking information. We havenít confirmed the tracking information yet but wanted to share it with you.' There's no button to respond or proceed - wtf am I supposed to? How do I get to the next step of 'Being reviewed by Paypal'? 45 day mark is dangerously close.

I would assume the date that you started the claim would be the one they would use, so since paypal is already involved you are safe. I'm not 100% sure on that however.

I believe that the claim period has been extended to 180 days. I remember a policy update but not sure how long ago it changed.

as mentioned above, it has been extended to 180 days - at least thats how I understood it.

anyhow, as you have started the claim within 45 days it won't get suspended. I once started a claim 2 days before the then valid 45 days had passed and I got my money back. They inform the seller that the claim was started, and ask for any proof of delivery etc.

you should be fine.

You can normally ring them as well. So that may be a better way to getting an actual answer to your question. I've found them very helpful in the past
