Well...it says he is going to get involved in a BM project...it does not mention anything about CF going full-blown BM...anyway....I rather prefer seeing him doing BM than the APOLLYON SUN crap... _________________ BLAZING OBSCURITY TAPE LABEL| http://blazingobscurity.blogspot.com/

Sounds like it's going to be some boring and worthless "super ground" consisting of him and a bunch of Norwegian wimps/posers.
Of course when it's release, it will be mass promoted and nerds will love it. |

Oops, didn't want to say Celtic Frost turns to Black Metal...miswrote the topic a bit.
My guess:
Mr.Warrior - guitar, maybe vocals parttime
Satyr - vocals
Frost - drums
either one of the Khold blokes or the next Satyricon guy - bass
Gaahl - optics, image, lights (similar to Dinosaur...well, inside joke for owners of Morbid Tales) |

...you all seem to be very prejudiced about that ? Black Metal with Tom sounds pretty interesting I would say. That's a wide field, so let's wait how this will turn out. I hope for you, that it will be a killer release
Also his Black-/Doom Sideproject could be something nice...who knows ?
I assume nobody has listened to anything yet ? _________________

one of the biggest liar in the metal scene (with Mille Petrozza)...the best thing for all the shit that he spit on HELLHAMMER before they became a "money maker" with the reissue that 'll be soon released is that his airplane 'll explode over Norway... _________________ "There are trivial truths and the great truths. It just sounds to me as if this will just be along the lines of guesting on/producing the new 1349 or something maybe with Anders Odden??? Either way I don't think it'll actually be some sort of 'supergroup' thing.
As for the Black/Doom thing... well we all know what shit along these lines Southern Lord comes up with, so I wouldn't be surprised seeing Tom trying to make a few dollars while thee Trve (ok)kvlt doom thing is still generating big bucks. |

I don't know about any Saqueericon and Turbonegro thing..
I'm thinking more of that crappy Eibon thing Phil Anselblow did with Saqueer and that little turd Killjoy. |

I've always been a BIG celtic frost fanatic and they are one of my favorite bands, but I've lost a little bit of respect for them (tom as well) over the last few years. _________________ Glorious Dawn Upon The Plateau Of Might Now Burns!!

I dont see the big problem about Tom doing anything. If you like it, good, if not, just do not buy the record. Anyway, Tom has the legitimate right to play Black or Death Metal since he contributed a lot to create both styles, in a way or other and thus, I see no problem if he wants to make money with his music. Satyricon do it, Mayhem do it so go and bit the neck of them instead Tom's.
And as someone mentioend here, I prefer hear Blakc or Doom from Tom than apollyons crap _________________ cry out for metal |

At the end of the day I don't care if he wants to do this. He'll probably get together with some Norwegian dickheads, who knows?
At the end of the day he doesn't give a fuck what we have to say and he wants to do this I don't care. Why should he be restricted by a few cynical listeners?
This is whats irritating about black metal. People have to stay within certain boundaries because of fear of appearing 'untrue'. I couldn't give a shit really as long as they don't do trendy nu metal/metalcore shit. |
