First of all - hi guys, I'm new here. I am a regular poster on the metal archives but just registered here today.
Now to the question. I saw via a web search that Iron Tyrant was thinking of doing a vinyl issue of "Secret Sudaria," and some other guy inquired about doing a ltd. CD release as well. Personally I would love for both of these to happen - I'm a huge Mortuary Drape fan and can't find a reasonably priced copy of this album anywhere now. Have there been any developments? I know Iron Tyrant just released "Into the Drape" vinyl (looks utterly badass by the way, awesome job) but they haven't posted anything about their next project. And I don't even know who the guy or label was that was sniffing around about a CD issue.
Thanks! |

| My understanding is that Luca/Iron Tyrant has the go-ahead to release "Secret Sudaria" as a double LP. Maybe Luca can confirm this since he frequents this forum. I haven't heard anything about a new CD version, but the guy from Barbarian Wrath/Nazgul's Eyrie told me that he's still got some copies of the original CD which "will be made available to the public when the time is right". Nice nick, btw. Twin Peaks fan? |

Thanks for the info. I wonder what that cryptic remark from Barbarian Wrath means... maybe I'll shoot him an e-mail and ask.

Who knows? I've heard Mortuary Drape weren't exactly pleased with the way he handled things...

I'm doing the DoLP version later this year, not the cd version, I don't know who's up to that at the moment. _________________ Into the Menstrual Night We Go-o, Hey-Ho, Hey-Ho...

This album has a similar atmosphere as Sabbat Evoke. I always thought they should've done a split LP. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

The band still has copies for 15EURO.

Somebody wants to do a limited CD? Making that what? The third edition? Fuck that stupidity. If anyone is going to reissue a CD, they should do it unlimited or not at all. I see no point in a reissue if it's limited. The point is to get it out there again. Unless it's some ego pampering on the part of a label. |

| Thanks, I'll send them an e-mail. I'm trying to reach the guy who runs Barbarian Wrath also. If all else fails, I'll be first in line to pre-order that DLP... |

Or if they don't have unlimited expendable income. I would definitely like to see this out on CD though. I still need to track down a CD copy of Into The Drape as well. |
