Why isn't Goatlord being mentioned? Is it too fast or something? Reflections Of The Solstice is very perverted and sacrilegious album. diSEMBOWELMENT are good as well!

Good point.

I never got into 'em much.

I always like the doomy death like Asphyx, Obituary, Infester, Demigod.

If anyone here familiar with Embalmed Souls (Bra)? Read some review/interview from Desecration of Virgin 'zine the other night and became interested... supposed to be in the more doomy end of the Death Metal spectrum...

I doubt there are many This Empty Flow fans in here, but Solina Records will release the classic Magenta Skycode on vinyl in early 2011.

Thorr's Hammer.

And of course if one opts for death metal with doomy influences you have Cianide.

i love how alot of the death doom bands play CELTIC FROST style riffs, like WINTER, GOATLORD, CIANIDE, even BOLT THROWER's "Realm of chaos" has CF doom riffs played slowly & at grinding speed. fucking crazy

There are This Empty Flow fans in here, though Magenta Skycode only and it is nice to see this finally on vinyl. The rest they recorded didn't hit my taste.

October tide - Rain without End
Mystic Charm -All
Sorrow - Forgotten Sunrise
Indesinence and Ataraxie should surely be mentioned as well.

Ophis Stream of Misery is a decent album of death/doom. I would also recommend in checking out Keen of the Crow - Hyborea.
