DARK SYMPHONIES PRESENTS: DUSK (USA), MORPHEUS (Swe) and CRUCIFORM (Aus) CDs

DUSK (USA): Dusk / ...Majestic Thou in Ruin Official CD (DARK 36) (AVAILABLE 8/12/2015)

The next official CD release on DARK SYMPHONIES / THE CRYPT will be from Wisconsin based Doom/Death act DUSK! We've decided after speaking with the original band members to go for the cream of the crop and include only the band's prime material! This amazing CD will feature the band's long out of print self titled "Dusk" self titled debut and their equally amazing 1995 sophomore masterpiece "...Majestic Thou in Ruin".

This CD features the original Self Titled album Cover art by Caspar David Friedrich, as well as lyrics, new liner notes, exclusive band photos and original layout elements designed after the original CDs with attention to detail, even down to the logo and typeface for a touch of nostalgia.

Limited to 1000 copies each worldwide! Stay away from BOOTLEGS Support the Band! Buy Official Releases!!

MORPHEUS (Swe): Son of Hypnos Official Reissue CD (DARK 37)
(AVAILABLE 8/12/2015)

We proudly present the crushing debut album from the cult Swedish death metal act MORPHEUS, featuring past and present members from such Swedish legends as Excruciate, Necrophobic, Egypt, Carbonized, Dismember, Exhumed and Nifelheim! Having long been out of print for 21 years and fetching outrageous prices online, we are proud to offer this amazing piece of history once again, featuring the original cover artwork, lyrics, new liner notes and classic band photos.

In an effort to preserve the integrity of the original recording, we have meticulously and subtly remastered the audio files from the original analog sources to retain the dynamics and atmosphere of the original recording to unleash its true sound potential.

Limited to 1000 copies worldwide! Stay away from BOOTLEGS! Support the band and official releases!!

CRUCIFORM (Aus) Atavism / Paradox + Live tracks Official reissue CD (DARK 3Cool (AVAILABLE 8/12/2015)

Originally planned to be released through Infernal Devastation Records. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Dark Symphonies will be joining forces on this venture. Worldwide distribution will be handled by Dark Symphonies; and Australian distribution will be handled by Infernal Devastation Records.

CD re-issue of "Atavism", the only album ever released by Australian death metal legends CRUCIFORM. Cruciform is perhaps one of the most significant Australian metal bands of the early 1990s, playing a creeping and heavy form of death/doom long before most others.

Cruciform could have gone on to take a serious role on the worldwide stage but internal conflicts sadly tore the band apart on the verge of international recognition. The band developed a style similar to that of early recordings by Anathema and Paradise Lost featuring slow, lingering riffs and epic arrangements. They rose to the forefront of Sydney's metal scene with Atavism in 1993, the first release for Warhead Records. Atavism was distributed globally and received rave reviews everywhere.

This CD will compile the 1993 masterpiece "Atavism" and the 1995 "Paradox" EP that until now, was only released on cassette. We will also include four live tracks recorded in Sydney as they supported death metal veterans Sinister! All tracks have been remastered by The Ancient Way Mastering (The Crypt Vinyl/Dark Symphonies) who specialize in reviving and breathing new life into classic and old death metal recordings. 77 minutes of crushing old school Australian Death Metal.

Such a shame Cruciform split when they did as they played several new songs live that weren't recorded and wiped the floor with Atavism. Glad they are back playing live although I don't think those unrecorded songs have been resurrected

will surely get all 3!

as for Crypta, Agretator would be nice,Khroma Death will be handled by some french label, Amboss is not bad either, but I would love to see some late 90s US stuff like Tyrant Trooper, Carpharnum, Demonic Sacrifice to become available again.

Made contact with Demonic Sacrifice so far. We'll see what happens.
