If this is not the most underrated death metal band ever I don't know which other one is, 20+ year long career and not a single disappointing album so far. Just got the 'For victory' lp in the post today (thanks herr YK for that one) and what a damn' brilliant album it is: heaviest, demolishing death metal the old way that crushes everything in its path. Absolutely fantastic double-bass drums and top notch vocals.
This is a band that would deserve far more credit.

The best gig i have ever attended was Bolt Thrower and that was back in 93/94 Sydney, Australia. Hail Bolt Thrower.

Also, does anyone here have any footage when Martin Van Drunen was doing vocals?? I am very interested in seeing this.

I don't understand how any fan of Death Metal could not like BOLT THROWER.

World Eater is easily one of the best Death Metal songs I've ever heard.
Andy Whale is also one of my favorite drummers.

Indeed a great band. Almost all of their albums are crushing and they keep on releasing really good material. The "Warmaster" LP remains a personal favorite!

Great, unique band. Caught them twice last year when they came to Ireland and they were devastating. Their mid period after '...For Victory' is a bit weak I think & Dave Ingram was a bad choice of vocalist as well. The album he did Willets also recorded vocals for but Bolt Thrower said they're not going to release it, which is a shame. Would love to hear it! I also admire the way they declined playing at Wacken saying they didn't feel the festival was suited to them as a band. Respect.

"Realm of Chaos" is my Fave ! One of the darkest Death Metal Album ever...

best live concerts on my life ever. Saw them 3 times, twice with Drunen 10 years ago, once with Willets two years ago. All 3 in a packed venue in the first or second row. Best memories ever of a concert.
