darkness the way i have always wanted to hear it...
heavy and dense as death

| I don't know, I do like their style but to say that they're the best in 10 years is very argumentative.. |

Waitain. Archgoat returning, Proclamation, Lots of other Finnish bands, Swedish bands- Funeral Mist/ Ofermod etc, Black Witchery, etc. I could go on for a while...
It's a pretty good record, but not the most amazing thing ever. |

| i did not say EVER. BUT it is certainly better than any of those bands you mentioned....it is a great fucking original album....i think alot of people seem to have a big problem with that!! if you want to worship fucking Beherit shit, then ride for revenge is better than any, with a twist of fecal....and drums that sound like they are being played by giants. rfr just sounds fucking crushing and big! i fucking luuuuv the rfr drumming. sounds like goliath in trance or some crap!!! |

Good band, indeed.
It reminds me of the first time I've listened to BARATHRUM (both bands don't sound alike of course).
A band with its very own musical personality, trying to play something different but still retaining the black growing vibe and I like it... |

i think RfR is incredible. such a weird/fucked up vibe. i've only spun the LP a few times but the split gets repeated plays. the three tracks on that are awesome.
anyone know if the split 7" is out yet? if it is, i gotta get my hands on that. |

What 7" are you talking about?
And yeah, I think I might like the 10" a little more. Still, both are some murky shit! _________________ "Great holes secretley are digged where earth's pores ought to suffice, and things have learnt to walk that ought to crawl..." |

in of my mailorder packages, possibly when i ordered the Behexen pic disc LP from HoH, there was an insert for an upcoming RfR 7" or split 7". i'll look for it when i get home and post more info about it. if memory serves correctly, it should be out. i haven't heard mention of it nor really sought it out yet. |

| It's RfR 7" but apparently it's not out yet. There's also a mention about HAIL DLP in the same flyer but it's not released I think. |
