I just ordered a copy, can't wait. Kudos to Parasitic. |
The bass (not necessarily the bass guitar exclusively, but the low end of the album on the whole ) seems quite a bit tighter on the LP. It might just be the difference between my car's stereo and my LP set up at home, but the cd version would require me to turn the bass down to -4 before it became clear and stopped muddying up the sound of the whole album. Haven't really had to fuck with the EQ on the turntable set up at all since getting the LP. Everything breathes a bit better. |
In this day and age of careless vinyl mastering I'm usually skeptical of claims like this, but I must agree - the LP sounds amazing. Really packs a punch!! |

They are working on new material i believe.
Hopefully not as long a gap between albums from them this time.
They have also done a small number of shows this year. _________________ http://www.tzuntzu.com |

REAAAAALLY late to the party. Ive had the vinyl since it came out but onyl listened to it casually here and there. Today I was able to really sit down and absorb it and I have to agree with all this album is outstanding. A monumental work of progressive death metal that is technical enough to be interesting, but without all the wankery and pretentiousness of other more well known bands. Why havent I pulled this off the shelf more often? _________________ People I want to kill: Russell Brand....fucking annoying. |

Mate, this is a record that doesn't hit you all at once. Like all the best "challenging" music you can't expect to be a convert based on a casual listen. Had I done that I would have passed up Yes, ELP, PMF, Le Orme, all kinds of shit. Same story here.... _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ngadke |

I've given this album plenty of spins but I still can't fully get into it. _________________

| Been meaning to give this band a proper listen for ages now. Think I listened to them and Lykathea Aflame at the same and Elvenefris jumped out more at the time... Checking out their first album and it sounds like some good shit. |

it's a masterpiece... in the last days i'm listening to this and the Anhedonist full exclusively.
flawless discography for Stargazer, everything is just perfect and worth of buying it, split 7", split cd/lp, albums... what a band. _________________
