Apropos MAYHEM:
What's up with them? Last album came out years ago, Blasphemer has left...will they do us a favour in 2013 and finally split-up soon? |

| I saw Mayhem last month on the Barge To Hell cruise. Still a was great as usual, but on the whole the band seemed uninspired. They played 2 sets on the ship, but used the same set list. Kinda lame. I thought Atilla's outfit was kinda cool |

| I like Mayhem, but at this point that band name is a marketable commodity, like the name Pepsi, or Coke. Doesn't matter what the hell goes in the can anymore, the name means more than the product. It is a franchise now. |

| The last Morbid Angel was definitely the biggest disappointment I've experienced with music in general. |

| I'd also rank Danzig 5 a huge disappointment after the flawless first 4.... |

Trying to listen to that album now, is even worse than when it came out.
I was at least much younger and somewhat open to the industrial scene back then, on the coat tails of Nine Inch Nails Downward Spiral and all, Danzig 5 had a little appeal, but wow... did not age well. |

I listen to a few songs the other day. Ugggg. I think it would've a lot better if Glenn didn't put that horrible distortion on his vocals. The music I can stand, vocals not at all. |

I actually like that one. But coming after the masterpiece that was Horrorscope, I could understand. I Hear Black is waaay better then some of stuff the put out in the early 2000's |

Load and the last Morbid Angel was probably the biggest letdowns for me
Mayhem is also a band like Metallica that's a minor shadow of their great past |
