sure, both bands are great no mistake. But they never have, and still don't, sound alike. They are both completely original, so I guess they have that in common.....

Looking forward to this one indeed. I'd love to see them do a split with Antediluvian. There are parallels between the two bands but they still both sound very different.

They create similar atmosphere. Still Antediluvian is more bestial, while Mito sounds like Blasphemy copulating with Gorguts.

Yep two very different bands but perhaps because they are both Canadian and I got into them around the same time, and both of them create a very claustrophobic atmoshpere I can't help but kind of twin them together in my head.

Speaking of twins in the head, I see together Parasignosis and new Ulcerate - The Destroyers of All. Very dark and obscure atmosphere, almost ritualistic. And technical aspect of music, obviously influenced by Gorguts.

They use to call them "the 2nd coming of Gorguts-Obscure era". Ulcerate is fantastic bend from New Zealand, you should check them if you like technical and dark death metal.
