Does anyone else think this album fucking rules? I like it as much their early classics. Everything else that's newer by them has been pretty boring though. Was really shocked at how good it was the first time I played the album.

Dug out the LP today; are all copies on clear wax?

Great LP. Constantly being played and I don't see this album ever fading out of my interests.

I got tired of the female vocals, but it was a good step back into their older style. I do feel it's missing the "evil" atmosphere though.

I like it - it's not classic RC and I'm glad it isn't.

Definitely better than their latest imo.

Great album indeed. The one before it, "Sanctus Diavolos" was killer too. The latest one though...

Sanctus Diavolos was a really great record, you're right. It came out at a time when very few people who were into their older stuff were paying attention anymore, so I think it really got overlooked by a lot of people.

I think this album is fucking killer ! The previous one was good too, but a had a few crap songs. Theogonia is all killer, no filler for me. Besides the track where Diamanda Galas is sampled, the newest one was a big disappointment to me. Just bland and not memorable.

Definitely a great album, and I listen to it often. I don't know what they were thinking when they made Aealo though.

I like all RC. Aealo grew on me after a few spins. Don't like it as much as Theogonia but it's good. It's just not as immediately catchy.

Classic material here. Each and every song is a gem in its own right.

It ain't bad. I don't think RC ever turned out a bad album. But you're right, Theogonia is just in a whole 'nother dimension.

Amazing album. Next one was good, but not as great as this one.

Theogonia fucking slays. It's the only newer Rotting Christ album I enjoy from start to finish. I have no idea how they went from that album to Aealo, which is very boring to me.
