|
|
I have always been into the NWOBHM scene since I first heard bands like Saxon,Witchfinder General,Motorhead etc. playing from my brothers room in the early 80's.Since then I have collected a ton of cd's and vinyl.
Some of my rare ones are
1) Marquis de sade "Blank angel"
2) Sapphire "jealousy"
3) Def Leppard ep bludgeon riffola red label w/sleeve and signed insert
4) Shock Treatment "the mugger"
5) Satan "kiss of death"
6) Persian Risk "Calling for you"
7) Iron Maiden "The Soundhouse Tapes" w/ insert
Prowler "forgotten angel" w/ sleeve
9) Tyrant "Hold back the lightning" w/ button and bio press sheet
10) Witchfinder General "burning a sinner" fully signed by '81 line-up
this is a start. |

That's easy. Because I have only 2 NWOBHM Singles...
1) ARC - "War of The Ring" original EP, signed by all the Whitbread brothers. Only 3 of them were signed.
2) Tank - "Stormtrooper" Pic EP. It looks awesome, but not either rare or pricey. It's totally unplayed and mint though |

just one:
a Witchfinder General 7" without cover, one side is silver, the other one is gold. Don't know if is rare or not.
This band rules. Any news on the triple LP anthology on Miskatonic Foundation? |

I doubt that will see the light of day any sooner than mid-2008, possibly later. He's currently focusing on The Lamp Of Thoth 10', the Orodruin 10", the Desolation Angels box set, and the Pagan Altar DLP for Mythical & Magical. |

It's the Music EP special silver edition. Some copies changed their color to a caramel/gold one, I have seen a bunch of them. Don't know if this is a mispress or if this is the fate of all Music EPs... |

Satan "Kiss of Death" EP w/out cover
Witchfynde "Give `em Hell" EP
Witchfynde "I`d rather go wild" EP
Witchfinder General "Burning a sinner" EP 1997 re-issue (black cover)+insert
Iron Maiden "Soundhouse Tapes" EP (bootleg of course)
+ many Venom stuff |

Nothing other than a few Saxon 7"s- but that's something I am about to change as I just bought myself the NWOBHM encyclopedia.
I used to work for a label that had the British Steel label as part of it- run by the bass player of Janine, so I got free copies of all of those NWOBHM compilation cds that were put out and are now deleted. |

This wasn't a reissue but it was a bootleg done on the cheap. |
