I Picked up a odd looking copy of Infester - To The Depths, In Degradation CD that doesn't seem to match the Moribund version on discogs. It has this weird blue frame and I was wondering if anyone could provide any information about this version and where it came from? sorry for crappy cell phone pics

Never seen that version, but I remember Moribund had a few spindles of CD's without covers left, so maybe they reprinted some covers and inlays? Design looks terrible though..
By the way, wasn't somebody supposed to rerelease this on vinyl, finally?

It's the Amazon version. On certain out of print albums, they will sell you a burned MP3 disc copy along with inserts.

That makes a lot of sense. I didn't know that service existed but Its clear 0 thought went into making the cd look good so I could tell it couldn't have been an official one.

I just think its really funny/cool that someone had this Infester cd made from one of those mp3 services and that I found it in a used cd store.

the sound is not bad, not sure about how it compares to the official CD though, Glad to have a copy, even if it is less official than a bootleg/more official than blank cdr with sharpie. Weird stuff. Never seen an Amazon cd before.

It would have to be mp3s, I doubt Amazon stores lossless files for all their digital downloads - and in some cases the lossless files are never even uploaded, depending on the service that distributed it to the different sites.
