Not sure of that.. Not sure if actual contracts were involved for these releases, as it was run by a separate guy.

From Beyond was ran by a separate guy, but Displeased owns the copyrights (at least for some releases), so I guess HH now owns it all then... I Guess we can only wait and see what happens. |

Too bad Displeased went out of business because they were always easy to deal with.

Before Displeased quit they offered all the releases they still had rights for to everyone who could be interested (or not). I think HHR just made a deal for a few titles, not all.
I was interested in 1 or 2 titles, but while I contacted the band (I always want their approval before anything) it seemed some titles were already sold by Displeased

Do you know what happened to titles like Anal Vomit "Demoniac Flagellation" album for example? Anything Hammerheart didn't take went back to the bands?

I have no idea, those could be sold, but I also don't know if the label is officially stopped. There's still that discorder thing going on, so maybe they still hold the rights to releases which weren't sold?

I'm in no position to discuss Hammerheart's policy concerning rights and stuff, but the records they put onto vinyl in the last times are top notch. The Vader demo album and those Malevolent Creation reissues are professionally made and a joy for eyes & ears.
