I haven't really seen much discussion of this album, and there isn't even a review about it on MA. In discussions about Absurd's career it never even really seems to pop up alongside Facta or Totenlieder. Why is this album not mentioned? How does it rank along Absurd's back catalog?

I enjoy it well enough.

Same basic style as Facta... just a bit more polished for the most part. It also sounds like it was recorded at different times, some of the songs vary in production.

Maybe the worst album by Absurd. Some good or even great songs, but very uneven material. Still, will definitely buy a vinyl if it ever gets released.

No, it's not. It was out of print for many years, maybe that made people think this album too could be blacklisted over here. But a proper re-release is coming soon, afaik.

indeed. very primitive and vulgar. and, at times, faster. perhaps that is the reason so many overlook it?

Personally I dig this one but definitely holds no candle to the classic releases. Very 90's RAC hardcore vibe, even moreso with the production. Brutal vocal performance too.

One of the best Absurd albums IMO. End of my favorite era.

I remember when the album came out around 2000. I had bought and loved Asgardsrei. Then I saw this new album in my metal shop and I asked to hear it. The music was as disappointing as the cover (just logo on black background). It was quite different from both Facta Loquuntur and Asgardsrei and the line-up was different too.

I didn't buy it and I've never given a full listen ever since. I only dowloaded a couple of songs. This album was quite immature in my opinion, especially the vocals.

The other Absurd release that has been quite forgotten is the Absurd/Pantheon split. Yet the Absurd part is great, even if the vocals were still immature. Both parts are great in fact (in spite of the glitch in the beginning of the Pantheon part).

Some of the vocals are bad, but generally it's a really great album. I've always been a huge fan of the guitar tone in particular.
