This is a topic that I don't think gets enough attention around here, or in general. What are some of your favorite recorded live performances? You can also give a brief spiel on each one if you want to. I'd prefer to hear about official releases but if there's a bootleg that you feel especially stands out then feel free to talk about that one too. Here are some live albums that I consider my all-time favorites:

*Blasphemy - Live Ritual: Friday the 13th
*Mayhem - Dawn of the Black Hearts
*Motorhead - No Sleep 'til Hammersmith
*Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
*Heaven and Hell - Live From Radio City Music Hall
*Anal Cunt - Breaking the Law EP

Part of the reason why I create this thread is so I can find more to check out.

Agnostic Front - live at cbgbs (the first one, not last warning)

Slayer - Decade of Agression 1, I've always felt that if they take out Mandatory Suicide and replaced it with Black Magic, that would be the greatest live metal recording complied

Iron Maiden - Live Aftet Death

In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up - Ministry

The songs on that are even better than the album versions.

Swans "Public Castration Is A Good Idea"
Coil "And The Ambulance Died In His Arms"
Brighter Death Now "Disobey"

I don't really like any live metal albums...

Maiden - Maiden Japan
Motorhead - What's Words Worth

There's video recordings also - Cliff em' All in particular the Kill em' All songs, & early Slayer concerts on youtube. For non-metal I like Nirvana.

So killer sounding, plus Baloffs banter is A+. I haven't seen the footage but my friend has the video and says that Gary Holt looked nu metal haha, right when they came back.
