Last album I care about from Metallica. I couldn't pass it up for $139 on Amazon the other day.

3 vinyls, 10 CDs, 2 DVDs, and a cassette (along with a book and other schwag). Like 5 unreleased live soundboard shows from the era, plus demos and other shit. I wish Cliff's last show wasn't on cassette, but that's my only real gripe.

Already ordered as well. The extra stuff and the book are too good to pass. Specially when KEA and RTL boxes were fantastic.

The one thing that pisses me off, is that the set I wanted the most was the 'No Life 'Til Leather' set with all the pre-KEA demos. That whole "we want that NWOBHM / Diamond Head sound" is my favorite stuff. It's held up because of some kind of 'rights' bullshit, but I'm not sure if it's Kenny Kane or what.

I'm sure it's about the credits etc and Mustaine being involved in the recording.

Interested as well but tried to make a pre-order for the 3cd+book bundle and it comes too much expensive to me (about 45 $ postage).

Price might be a bit cheaper for some here. They don't charge postage costs as far as I know and accept paypal.

Yes better find a European distributor because of VAT alone. I pre-ordered mine from Finnish store.

Jesus f'in Christ- pre-ordered that. There's a quote about something being the best release in recorded music history but I can't remember now who said it...
