I got some copies of this great release in stock. They're a bit expensive because I Hate was trading them at higher trade points. Anyways I think it's well worth it for the rare recording.

From their website:

DEATH ATTACK - 7" PIC DISC OUT NOW
The German city of Wolfsburg in the middle of the 1980s: The only thing the city is known for is the VW-factory. There is a small Metal scene, and only one big band worth mentioning called STEELTOWER, which later became HEAVENS GATE. Ever since VENOM released “Welcome to Hell” in 1981 an increasing number of bands all over the world had appeared on the international scene, all wanting to play faster and harder Heavy Metal. In the German Ruhr area there were bands such as KREATOR and SODOM. Influenced by these bands, but also by American acts like SLAYER and EXODUS, André “Ace” Borawski (guitar), Michael Hasse (vocals), Peter Schulz (drums) and Peter Laske (bass) formed the first extreme Metal band in Wolfsburg in the autumn of 1985: DEATH ATTACK. Ace played bass in STEELTOWER at the time, and so DEATH ATTACK was able to use the STEELTOWER rehearsal place to put together some songs. Sadly the band broke up already in the spring/summer of 1986. Ace and Peter Schulz went on to form the Speed Metal band INZEST while Michael joined forces with Hansi Müller and Michael Schnabel to form PROTECTOR. Peter Laske later came to create a Speed/Thrash-band called HERITAGE. During their existence DEATH ATTACK managed to put together only two songs, both recorded under primitive conditions at the rehearsal place. This picture disc EP will let you hear the first efforts by a band hailing from the Wolfsburg region to play really hard and extreme Metal. And still to this day ”Warrior’s Of Death” and the eponymous “Death Attack” is sure to give all fans of the early PROTECTOR stuff their fill of Teutonic Thrash!

Luxurious 7 inch picture disc on very thick vinyl featuring two never before released pre-PROTECTOR tracks from 1985 - Warriors Of Death and Death Attack. The songs has been re-mastered but are still raw and ferocious as hell! Anyone into early German Thrash will love this! Limited to 500 copies and comes with a biography written by Martin Missy.

I love this type of evil thrash metal. Never been a big fan of the bay area thrash sound myself. Thrash for Satan and NOT beer.

not a fan of albums like the first ones of Exodus, Metallica, Vio-Lence, Death Angel ??

For me thats just as good as old Sodom , Destruction , Kreator or whatever

besides I think it would be wrong to call them thrash for beer anyway, thats more suitable for Tankard, but they do both, 666 pack! haha

Of course the classics like Bonded By Blood and Kill em All are great. I was never a fan of Vio-lence and Death Angel. I guess the first Death Angel was okay... Nothing compares to German thrash though.

I´m totally with Yosuke on this one ! What is known as "Bay area thrash" is not my cup of tea. Of course there are still good bands from the bay area. But TESTAMENT, EVIL DEAD and the likes are way too technical, too much guitar wankery and stupid breaks and drumbeats. I like it straight forward....

Yosuke, do you have alot of these in stock? I saw it at Amoeba in LA over the weekend for $15. Way too much. I want to order it, but i'm waiting for some new stuff to get added. Whenever I place an order, you always seem to add new stuff later that day or the next. I ended up placing three orders last Thurs./Fri. So I'm going to wait this time.

Yeah I have enough and the high price is detracting most people from buying it.

This one's for you bro !!!

SATANIC STRAIGHT EDGE

I'm a person just like you
But I've got better things to do
Like put a hoodie over my head
Just listening to good ol' black death
I don't snort white shit up my nose
And don't go to "beer thrashy" shows
I don't care about your drink
That's something I just don't need

SATANIC STRAIGHT EDGE

I'm a person just like you
But I've got better things to do
Like kneel before the masters throne
Worshipping the mighty Goat
Spitting at the christian dudes
Never thought of sniffing glue
To live in peace is no my law
Just fukkin' nuclear war now!!

SATANIC STRAIGHT EDGE
