The drummer from Nyktalgia is really interesting to listen to.

Everything with the guy of Rites of thy Degringolade is of interest, drum-wise.

Else you might want to check Lust (Can) and Nuclear Death (USA), not sure they account for BM though. Skull/Kranium Diabolikum has drums patterns I find interesting too.

At least, Arcanus Tenebrae might match your scope of interest. A bit in the vein of Vermeth guitarwise, amazing drum parts.

Ulver's Vargnatt, any Ved Buens Ende and anything else Carl-Michael drummed on, he just rules.

Vulpecula's drumming is great, the sound and style in general.

Nifelheim's drumming is perfect. Super tight and aggressive!

It certainly isnīt the drums which make NIFELHEIM agressive. And I of course agree they are... Itīs the whole package, but I think they would be even more agressive with Lee Griffiths, DD Crazy or Ventor on drums.

But NIFELHEIM is a bad example of what I was trying to say. I just think those plastic drummers donīt sound agressive...

Well, these points aside, your initial comment implies that aggressive and tight are mutually exclusive, with which, I disagree.

I would say the drumming on first Nifelheim album is aggressive. It's the most hateful Nifelheim album after all.

Dave Grave on Horrified shits all over those sloppy drummers just mentioned in terms of aggression. Still the best blasts ever to my ears, tons of power.
