This would suck.
I don't have insurance but will consider it now,
also, I guess Ikea Expedits last longer than vinyl records in this case ?!

Fuck insurance.
If the owner died with that meager collection, apparently he won then right? Consumed and given to the flames etc etc?

Owning a horde of music is a joke and nothing but a miserable joke to the owner anyways, all you have is more than you can realistically enjoy and if you ever have to move it physically in entirety you curse it regardless... ipod and motorcycle would probably appease most here realistically than a massive collection of dead bulk plastic in dusty shelves Wink

The idea of having an insurance on your vinyl collection has been discussed a few times on this very same board. As a former insurance broker, all I can tell you is it's a waste of time and it'll lead nowhere. There's no surveyor to estimate the value of black/death metal records and no company would ever take your own popsike-sourced personal evaluations seriously in the event that the collection gets stolen/burnt. They'll gladly cash in the premium but once your Moonblood records are gone, good luck trying to explain them they were worth hundreds of $$.

I'm sorry if this has been asked already. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with these inner sleeves. Are they any good? Thanks in advance.

I've been buying from soundsourcecds for over a decade, Wes is a pro and those innersleeves are great for the price, but order off their website or make a phone call it is cheaper that way.

In an expedit like everyone else. My Man Cave/Listening Room/escape from houseful of girls is starting to look like a shrine to NWN! though. Took the posters down and hung the tapestries from the die hards. More labels need to package them with releases.

I keep all my LPs are in those MoFi inners you linked.

I think they're great--no more scuffs on LPs, and the inners are easy to get in/out of LP jackets.

edit-I usually order them from amazon or musicdirect because they offer free shipping.

Cool, thanks for your input also. I'm not sure which ones I'll get. Leaning towards the Japanese ones though.
