A friend of mine left some demo tapes at my place, one of them is Outburst 'Demoniac Outburst' 1987. It's chaotic French thrash that featured one of the Agressor guys if I'm not mistaken.
I'm planning on uploading it on the Corroseum Forum. |

| MASSACRA was and is my personal fave coming from France, as well as killer MUTILATED [ex-MUTILATOR], but AGGRESSOR´s "Satan´s Sodomy" demo, and "Neverending destiny" debut are killer!!!!! While i never have been into the rest of releases after the first album. And LOUDBLAST sucks pretty hard, sorry! |

That demo of Outburst is killer indeed. Mutilator/Mutilated demos are french classics as well. The first three albums of Massacra are among the best death/thrash releases ever imo. "Enjoy the violence" is a fucking masterpiece. I like pretty much everything Agressor have released so far.
Loudblast is a totally gay and worthless band, except maybe a very few early songs...(the split LP w/ Agressor for instance).
And if you're looking for some good old thrash metal from France, check Morsüre, their only album from 85 and demo from 84 have been re-released by Hellsheadbangers on one CD quite recently. |

I used to be in touch with the band and had those demos at the time... They were definitely the best French band together with MUTILATOR/MUTILATED. I don't remember OUTBURST to be that great... What was the name of the pre-Outburst band? U.H.F. or something? I'd love to hear the demo again...
LOUDBLAST has always sucked indeed. Worst band. |

LOUDBLAST was pretty decent on the split with Agressor. Of course Agressor killed them by a far margin.
