recap from last night... more hopslam consumption. to any individuals who drink this stuff, I STRONGLY advise pouring it and letting it warm up to 50+ deg before really digging into this stuff. as with so many things in life, the flavors really shine once it warms a little. particularly that SMOOTH honey backbone of hopslam. wow. a serious treat there... considering the drinkablity vs. content level, you can really get yourself in trouble with this stuff. with all this talk, I may have to start back in on it at lunch time _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

its brewed with cream sugar so it has a really smooth, sweet taste to it and is super drinkable, but any oatmeal/milk/sweet stout is pretty drinkable in my opinion. poured it from the can and is black as coffee, has hints of coffee in the taste/smell along with the cream sugar. i don't eat oatmeal often so i don't pick up on the taste as easily, but it's in there too. everything ive had from this brewery (Tallgrass Brewing from Manhattan, Kansas) has been good. _________________ good users |

I will take your advice on this because I bought a 6 pack of this last weekend , only managed to drink one and didn't like it at all. Big fan of Double IPA's but not this one. Will let it warm up and give it another try. |

How's that panning out?
This weekend:
Bruery - Rueze + Saison Rue
Jolly Pumpkin - Bam Bierre from '10
Allagash - Interlude
Angry Orchard - Strawman + Iceman
Alvinne - Undressed
HaandBryggeriet - Nissefar + Bestefar from '09 and '10 respectively |
