Definitely. It's almost a completely different beer. Like an IRS milkshake!
I'll have to keep an eye out for Narwhal. |

Isn't beer meant to be drunk cold? |
soft leger yes. But not strong beer / belgian beer / brown beer. Cave temperature is the best.
Taste is not at its best when the beer is too cold. |
Well, since I have no cave here, I just store them in the fridge, and put them outside some time before. That's better and faster than putting them in the fridge waiting them to be at the right temperature. _________________ Scrutare et vide quia propheta a Galilaea non surgit! |

We do the same thing -- put stuff in the fridge to cool them down, and then either take out when at proper temp or let it warm up to proper temp for those beers that are better served at cave temps rather than chilled. We unfortunately don't have the space in our place for a bunch of fridges. All extra space goes to 1) books 2) records 3) homebrew equipment 4) cases of beer, either homebrew or commercial stuff we're aging.
I really want to try the Narwahl Imperial Stout. |

not a dogfish fanatic, HOWEVER I have still never been able to track down a bottle of 120 minute... if any of you beer maniacs have access to this stuff and want to work out a trade for it, PM me
also agreed, Hoptimum is good stuff! by far and away the best IPA SN has ever produced (which is easy for me since I am not a fan of their other stuff) if memory serves me correct, Hoptimum and Green Flash's- Palate Wrecker have a lot in common, so I would recommend this as well to anyone loving that hoptimum _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

hot damn! the enjoy by 11/9/12 was only a cool 9.4%. definitely going to have to seek this one out. these fresh hops are by far the best thing stone has done IMO _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

I thought it was good. Not quite as bitter as I like my stouts to be, but still very strong with a lot of flavor. _________________ http://sethbennettillustration.blogspot.com/ - Artwork and graphic design
