no mythical lines around the block? I can't believe you had time to sneak one in a single lunch break at that... _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

currently...
Great Lakes trying to enter the big "west coast style" DIPA category (getting tired of using this "west coast IPA" term. hahaha) solid offering that hangs with the competition in its class without losing distinction of DEFINITELY being a GLBC brew (ie that distinct yeasty after taste you get with commodore, etc)
I had heard it was their answer to Hopslam, but I can't really agree there, or at least its not a clone. there are certainly distinct differences, and its not as sweet as hopslam. still a solid offering from GSBC. nice to see them adding more ammo to their arsenal. as always, let it warm up and air out. it gets better as it sits _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

^ both of those look interesting. i'm actually drinking a Belgian Tripel (which is brewed in Kansas) poured from a can right now, and i'm surprised to see some Belgian styles making their way into cans given the prestigious nature of the beers. _________________ good users |

| It seems to be a very american thing to do to take inspiration from a style and try and put your own spin on it. |
