yeah you posted one of those a few pages back right? Looked pretty good. I've seen the IPA around but have yet to try any of their stuff.
I got a raise at work yesterday so naturally I went straight to the beer store..

just returned from drinking at Whole Foods (MASSIVE LOL): had a couple Columbus Brewing Co- Bodhi on draft. CBC SERIOUSLY knocking it out of the park with this one. exceeds any IPA or other hop odyssey beer they have done in the past and almost feels like it could put columbus on the beer map for once. from what I gather they will be bottling it soon as a contender for this exploding west coat IPA category, and I could not be happier personally. ZING! _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

I'm pretty stoked on killer beers showing up in cans. |
I agree. It's nice to dispel the myth that just because a beer comes in a can doesn't mean it has to be low quality. Lots of good Chicago breweries use a can over bottle such as Half Acre, Revolution, Finch's as well as other national and local places. I'm still a big fan of bottled beer though.
Just though of this but do any craft breweries offer tall boys? the Canned equivalent of a bomber? |
Sierra Nevada Torpedo is in a slightly larger can. Probably something closer to an Imperial Pint. Not quite a tallboy in the traditional/malt liquor sense though. |
you can also get Dales Pale Ale in "tallkins" which is the ultimate get wasted in public brown bagger session ale IMO _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

Sippin' in this one right now. It has to be the chocolatiest beer I've ever tasted. The first few sips were glorious but now I am starting to get sick of it. It's interesting and worth trying, but it doesn't hold a candle to their Oatmeal Stout. |

Local Massachusetts brewer here was doing a series of beers recently, one for each horseman of the apocalypse. Pretty metal both in concept and label. They have all been delicious.
Ironically enough, the beer which was supposed close out the series, Death, didn't meet the brewers standards and he threw it all out.
