I understand there are 2 types of material used to print the hoodies (be it zipped or not), some are of a softer material whilst others are "heavier" - which do you guys prefer and why?

I was thinking the softer ones would be more flexible for usage even during non-winter months (spring/autumn).

all great here

use the heavier material ....nothing worse than being cold. And the heavier material is stronger for when you tie them around your waist using the sleeves

I got an Athiest hoodie thats printed on soft thin material.. after a wash the thing lost all its shape and turned into a hooded bag with sleeves. FUCK CHEAP THIN MATERIAL in its ass.

I got two hoodies, one from England that is extremely heavy - which I wear on very cold days, and one from American Apparel that is quite thin, which I wear on warmer days. I love 'em both and they are fading at the exact same rate.

I would reckon the hooded (non-zip) sweats would be of thinner material. Could this be true?

Are those printed by labels like HHR, Hammer of Hate, etc on heavier material? The pictures in the site make them look heavy but i'm not sure.

I have many metal hoodies/zip-ups etc..
Seems to me the heavier ones are 100% cotton and the lighter ones are 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. The 50/50 costs less per unit so many distros/printers choose those based on that. I hate 50/50 tee shirts but the 50/50 sweaters are not so big of a deal.

ONLY HEAVY IS REAL. I have the FOAD BLASPHEMY hoodie, and it's super thick. I don't understand why bands make such thin hoodies and charge upwards of $40 for them. You buy sweatshirts for cold weather, not to cool for three seasons out of the year.
