Ah yes, the most kult of formats..........
No, but seriously folks.....any of you big brains out there have any idea how one would go about making one? I have the outer shells, but am wondering how easy it would be to refill them with new tape with new music on them. Or would it be easier, if even possible, to tape over the existing tape? I know other bands have done this, having a hard time remebering who, I almost want to say Drop Dead and Anal Cunt did them, but.....anyway, any help would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks. |

are you going to try to make an item like that asshole on ebay who sold a 8 track of some burzum album for cash.
you shoudl make the 8 track for a noise band...that'd be cool. |

| YEAH! I have been thinking about this also. I am not sure or not if there is a way to overdub a tape, BUT you can find on ebay/garage sale/thrift store/etc, a 8 track recorder and the blank tapes also. |

no. it would be for unholy grave. clay from RFL beat me to the lathe cut so i want to do a release of theirs on a format that there aren't any of yet. i'd only sell it at a price that would help me break even. i'm about as far away from an ebay douche as you can get. |

Most players have recorders on them; that was the initial draw (as the mechanics of it are kinda absurd, like trying to create some "perpetual motion" format). You'd be better off finding one of those, because if you do load it with 1/4" tape, it probably won't translate to the right playing speed. _________________ "Great holes secretley are digged where earth's pores ought to suffice, and things have learnt to walk that ought to crawl..." |

| I guess I meant from 80's onward, like were any big bands like Accept, Metallica, Maiden, or any kind of thrash or black metal bands ever on 8track |
