Any comments about that band?
I love both first albums (and later stuff as well). I would like to know the general opinion about that German Speed Metal band. What do you know about them, what do you like/dislike?
Is there anybody out there that now about a current licensed vinyl-edition of both albums, made in Sout-America? _________________

Brazilian LP editions had been released in the 80's :
- Vengeance of Hell
- Back to the Weapons
I don't know about any other south american edition on vinyl.
WARHYMNS Records / Colombia released the first 2 albums on CD w/ slipcases recently (officially licensed). I'm waiting for a parcel from them with some copies.
Personally I like everything from Living Death but the first 2 albums are special for sure. Vengeance of Hell is my fave here. |

| I've heard the first 3 full-lengths and think they're all great. |

Is it difficult to get those older pressings?
I know about WARHYMNS, I worked with them for that release. I unfortunately had no time in writing a biography which they did request. But I've sent them some pictures, autograph picture and some entrance-tickets (original ones).
I know there will be a new pressing of both first albums coming soon. I just hope they are just ordinary black vinyl Next week I will know more about... _________________

Yeah!
"Vengeance of hell" and "Metal revolution" LPs are great !!! My faves !
I bought both in the mid-eighties !
"Back to the weapons" MLP and "Protected from reality" LP were good.
I love these old german speed / thrash metal bands, like the great
RUNNING WILD !!!! "Gates to purgatory" + "Branded and exiled"
...Adrian, son of satan .....................................
Chains and leather...................... forever ! cult pieces !!!
"Under Jolly Roger" isn't bad... _________________

Well, to tell the truth:
we are working on a Picture Disc Version of "Vengeance of Hell" and "Metal Revolution". A dream of mine is coming true. I just got to know from Shark Records that they already sold license for a vinyl-release to South-America. If they will release a black vinyl version, we immediately will go for a Picture Disc Version. I hope we will get the information this week...
Here are some of my "Living Death" related tattoes...
Hellpike logo:
Metal Revolution Cover:
Vengeance of Hell Cover:
Tour Shirt Motive:
Painting for Hellpike #4, made by a good mate...
Last one got "influenced" by the first Nifelheim Cover, by the way... _________________

Two! One got inked with Living Death motives, the other with Thorncross "stuff", plus Master's Hammer Skull, Baphomet, Inquisition goats (2nd LP), Necromantia Skull (demo tape), Worship Him (Samael) and Nifelheim first album skulls...
Still enough skin left to be inked... _________________

Dennis, I was wondering if you knew this:
Everybody remember "Vengeance of hell" cover artwork - 1984 !
Now, take a look to this art of Philippe Druillet (french artist), taken from
one of his art books "Urm le fou" (Urm the mad!!!) - 1975
