Lol, this guy "Of course, DEADMINT is NOT a regular grading, but I'm using it for records which have NO dings, NO splits, NO corner damages & are UNPLAYED (procedure as mentioned above)." |

Boards of Canada put out six of these for record store day. That's the first one to hit eBay. |
Six of them? I know the whole RSD thing is slightly ridiculous because of exclusive only releasing (though many of them are 1,000-5,000 copies or more anyway) but i think this one takes it to a whole new level, whats the point of 6 copies for a band like this? |

^ I think Forever Plagued carries the reissues of almost all of those for a way more reasonable price. If you want Graveland that bad on vinyl, it can be done for much cheaper. Unless you're a hardcore Graveland collector (in which case, you might be dumb enough to pay $1,500 for those albums) I really can't imagine anyone just dying to have first press of anything besides Carpathian Wolves and Thousand Swords.
Not necessarily metal, but I think stuff like this is ridiculous. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1000-Vinyl-Record-Collection-70s-80s-Rock-n-Roll-AC-DC-Beatles-REO-Jackson-5-/140953853876?pt=US_Wholesale_Records&hash=item20d1811fb4 This person is assuming each of these is worth about $10 each, yet the covers (and probably the albums) are beat to hell and the majority of them look like stuff I could get at my local thrift store for 47 cents. These probably belonged to some poor old guy who died and now his kids are trying to make a fortune off of them. |

Even if they were all originals, on the best day that lot isn't even worth 1/3 that price. The vast majority of Graveland records can be had for 25-30 bucks. And none of them are particularly rare. It's just batshit crazy.
I guess I could be wrong, maybe their stock went up... |

Unless there's a bunch of SUPER rare stuff hidden in there, it's probably not even worth 1/10th of what they want for them.
@GoldenBull: I really wouldn't know either, I assumed everything besides the first couple albums would go for maybe $50. But most people really wouldn't want much besides those first couple albums, I would think...regardless, that is definitely a retarded auction.
EDIT: Found this gem. Can't think of a better way to spend $400! http://www.ebay.com/itm/SLIPKNOT-SIGNED-IOWA-ALBUM-AUTHENTIC-ALL-9-MEMBERS-RARE-/161021873553?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item257da6cd91 |

If I ever meet anyone that has spent $400 on a Slipknot album I will be depressed for days afterward. |
