i'm 17 -- first time I heard/realllly listened to metal was at my friends house when i was way young, 8/9 years old. i went there and he was blasting War Pigs by Black Sabbath, since then, he continued to show me bands and then when i was 12/13 i got into much more metal, and now today, i'm into even more

Bands I got into Metal were Maiden (like many, he), Morbid Angel (I still remember when I saw the video for "God Of Emptiness" for the first time, it fucking blew my brains out), Metallica and Slayer.

First metal i got was the Sweet Child O' Mine 7". Then Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth etc.
