Hrhr, I had it also only on tape few weeks/months after it has been released. Believe it or not, but on the B side there has been songs from Acheron (Rites of the Black Mass) and Impetigo (Ultimo Mondo Cannibale). A guy dubbed it for me. I believe I have not had a CD-player back then. _________________

started listening to Metal in some youth camps during summer holidays in 1987. Since then I started buying tapes (King Diamond, U.D.O., ...) and from 1989 on I started buying CDs and LPs (due to a 5-week job during summer vacation in a cheese-factory I could afford a HiFi). First CDs were Morbid Tales and To Mega Therion that Noise re-released the year earlier. |

I think the first metal song I heard was probably Iron Maiden. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

I'm 29; The first cassette I ever bought was Metallica's Garage Days Re Re Visited Ep, when I was 10 years old (this was in Ireland, so it was on Mercury records... weird). Then it was Iron Maiden's "Powerslave," then Venom's "Welcome to Hell (from the cutout bin no less!) and Black Sabbath's "We Sold Our Soul...," (which I bought at a gas station!). _________________ "Great holes secretley are digged where earth's pores ought to suffice, and things have learnt to walk that ought to crawl..." |
