The Black Dahlia Murder ripped off Bolt Thrower, as well, and has a Bolt Thrower style shirt. Accept, they probably payed Bolt Thrower to be able to use it, since they have tons of cash. Fucking piece of shit band.

Their approach is a bit self-defeating, but if people are such big fans of the band they should respect their views. Why the hell is anyone so desperate for a t-shirt anyway?

Same reason anyone would want to support any band via CD, vinyl, shirt, stickers or patches. I own all of Bolt-Thrower's catalog either on tape or CD and would love to have a shirt but Bolt Thrower has not played here in the states in ages (in my neck of the woods especially). I completely understand a bands prerogative to distribute their merch as they desire but we as fans are the reason they make money. It just seems a bit strange to only limit shirts to being available only at shows and there by cutting off many fans who can not make the shows due to schedules, locations, etc...

Just picked up a 1993 tour sweater for 18 euro this week. The old merchandise is out there, you just have to be patient.

The show in the Atak (Netherlands) will be a free show + a free shirt. To bad the tickets are all gone.

Quote:
In 2009 Atak moved to a new building and now we would like to celebrate our first show in the new Atak with another special free show. After talking to the guys from Atak and our favourite beer brewery Grolsch, who are also from Enschede, we came up with the following:

The show will be on April 29th, and Asphyx, Rotting Christ and Dew-Scented will be joining us on stage. But, to stop people just ordering tickets and then not turning up, we will be asking for a 5 Euro "deposit". Then at the show you will get a special "No Grolsch, No Glory" Bolt Thrower T-Shirt and a Flip Top bottle of Grolsch beer!

I have a brand new/never worn BT shirt with the 'Who Dares Wins' cover.
Unfortunately, SMALL size only. .

PM me whoever is interested. I'll send pics/price/measurements, etc.

Next time anyone goes to a BT show, they have to keep us in the know so we can paypal them $$$ for a shirt.

That's an AMAZING idea! I can picture it now...

Fan - "Hey, can I have 17 shirts please; 9 in medium, 3 in large, 2 in extra large and 3 in small".

Merch guy - "I've got to say, that's a lot of fucking shirts. Why do you want so many"?

Fan - "Oh, they're not all for me. I know some desperados on an internet forum who are always saying they'll commit suicide if they don't get a Bolt Thrower shirt soon. I'm just doing this for them".

Merch guy - "Erm, ok. That'll be 170 then please".

Fan - "Here you are. Say, you haven't got anywhere I can store these during the gig have you? No? Nevermind I'll just carry them around with me. After all, that's the kind of scene supporting moron I am. Cheers".

Why, when you're going to to a gig - preferably to enjoy yourself - would you burden yourself with shopping for people you don't know?
