I doubt the album will be released this year at all. Nothing except the recording is done. No cover, no bandphotos etc. |

Uh, I gotta ask... what's a "08/15 layout"??? |
Just look at most of the releases of today. Boring 08/15 layouts usually have more effekts, nice photoshopped "moves" and such than the music consists of riffs. I think "Regain" deals with such "layouts". These are modern in my eyes and therefore nothing but boring to me. I hope Nifelheim will come up with something different, as they are also different compared to the rest of the label(crap). It's just my opinion...

Well, 08/15 means something like "mediocre standard", "worn out". It's a saying that it comes from the people of WWI that used German Machine gun 08. It's usual to say in Germany 08/15 to boring/mediocre stuff...

Btw, I have listened to the whole album now and Iīm really starting to like it. It got a old schoolish blackmetal (read Bathory, Venom etc.) type feeling to it but with a "fresh" sound. Canīt wait til the day itīs coming out on LP. |

Finally a new Nifelheim album! They take quite a while between releases but always unleash quality music; I'm greatly looking forward to a new Nifelheim release!

I'm really looking forward to this album.
I heard that the original vinyl release of Nifelheim is bad quality or something. Can anyone elaborate?
I know the album is being re-released but I know where I might be able to get an original copy for future trades.

Last 2 songs on side B suffer from scratches and all sorts of weird noise, despite the vinyl being in mint conditions. that's what happens on my own copy at least. |
