I distinctly remember some Black Metal band covering this song a few years ago, but I sadly never managed to hear it. I was positive that it was Merrimack, but internet research has proven me wrong. I find the concept of a Black Metal band covering this particular song to be exciting, so I'd really appreciate if someone could help me on this one.

As much as a Depeche Mode fan that I am, I genuinely loathe that song.

It sucks. This version is funny though.

What do you think about A Forest from The Cure covered by Carpathian Forest?

Not the best cover of this song but good enough Cool

The Saturdays did a better cover.

Anyway would also like to hear the Enjoy the Silence cover, will have a look around for it. I kind of like their version of Clean anyway.

hmm, didn't know there was a bm cover song for that track.
It would be interesting to listen to it.

Thought it was pretty cool. The album had some too much weak songs though, dont enjoy it fully.

I heard an embarassingly shitty cover of Stripped by Rammstein recently, funny stuff. On another note, I saw Depeche Mode at Madison Square Garden in April and they were still awesome.

I think theres a definite period of Depeche Mode that lends itself quite well to being covered by BM bands, specifically the albums "Music for the Masses", "Black Celebration", Violator" and "Songs of Faith and Devotion". Personally Id love to hear how a BM version of In Your Room or Stripped would sound.

Yeah, especially bands of the more depressive variety lets say. Haha. I would love to cover some of their songs if I can get the right people together.

I've got that tape of Frail's Joy Division covers. Is brilliant!

So, what CC album is that cover on? I found nothing about it on metal archives.

I'd really appreciate if someone could post an upload link with the song.
