Sounds very strange. I think the first CD-press was something like 1998/1999(?), catalogue number was CG 0038, Matrix-number is CG0038 17839 IFPI L562 VIDEOLAR

Pictures follow later.

There is a bootleg that looks like it would be original but it isn't. The layout is exactly like the vinyl fron 87. Buy the cogumelo reissue instead, to be safe.

So buy it for 100USD an let us know if its real thing. I tend to think its bootleg though. First CD version came in 1992.

Mmm...both cds (the one you posted the picures and the one on ebay) got CAT. COG 007...
and i suppose that's impossible!!!
so one of the two cds must be definitively a bootleg...but it's very strange anyway...because i saw the same version on ebay many times...also on some important record stores...
i'm really confused now... Question

Interesting. First time I see this, and interesting that Cogumelo re-released a CD back then under the COG-numbering... and not under the CG-one where they did the re-releases... but yeah, 1992 is printed on the CD.

EDIT: oops, I see the Sexthrash - Funeral Serenade CD from 1993 as COG052. That would be the next exception...

An ug band's album released on CD in Brazil back in 87? How naive should one be to believe it?

I'm not sure whether this is the very first pressing but this is one I have owned since new in the mid-90's.

Unfortunately it is impossible to read the matrix on this as it is misaligned on the silver, but there is definitely no IFPI W501

It look exactly the same but the backcover and titles are yellow.
