standouts for me:
Portal--Swarth cd
Villains--Lifecode of Decadence LP
Crucifier--Trampled under Cloven Hooves 10"
Vomitor--Cry from the Underground mlp
Iron Man--I Have Returned cd
Zemial--I am the Dark 7"
Desaster--20 Years Of Total Desaster die hard box
GBK/Sigrblot/Absurd--Weltenfiend 3LP box
Arghoslent side of the split w/Martial Barrage LP
Torturkammer/Husere Grav split cd(r)
Otesanek--s/t 12" [final 2 trax]
Stabat Mater--S/T LP
High Spirits--S/T LP
maybe some other that I am forgetting about.
lots of "ok" stuff: the last Archgoat (the awful effect on the vocals kills the album), Tetianblood, Diocletian (where are the vocals? Buried in the mix, ruins the album for me), Katharsis (major letdown after the monumental "WWE" LP), etc...
for 2010: only really looking forward to: new Negative Plane, Cauldron Black Ram, Villains, Unearthly Trance, Sabbat, Necros Christos, Inquisition, Hour of 13..... |

What did you expect after WWE? I mean, it´s nothing less than natural evolution they´re on since their first Demo-Tape, so ... |

Honestly I think Fourth Reich sounds more like somewhere between Kruzifxxion and WWE with a decent production. Not as good as WWE, but not bad... |

Can't stop spinning Helvetets Port album, is the ep better yes, I don't care I still like this release a hell of alot. Also Salute: The Underground is excellent. Still need to get the new CHasm, and am awaiting Portal: Swarth to arrive in the mail. _________________ "It was the best of time it was the blurst of times."

I've gotta throw Cobalt's "Gin" out there as well, haters be damned.
Its certainly not 'black metal', .....but it is great music. They really don't sound like any other band to my ears. I can't wait to hear what these 2 guys do next. _________________

I'll have to add that one, it hasn't been mentioned much, and I know many here didn't like it but for me it was a hell of a release. Great atmosphere on that one. _________________ Eva, ave Isis.
