I have heard no music whatsoever from the following bands, but they all seem to have a lot out there. What are good starting points for:

INQUISITION
TAAKE
DEMONCY
URGEHAL
PEST

Thanks
M.

Into the Infernal Regions is a good start.

Inquisition: Into the Infrenal Regions of the Ancient Cult...then work your way up. They are all good, although I think "Magnificent Glorification of Lucifer" is their weakest by far.

I agree with Andy about Demoncy. That is all I know about the band, and it fucking RULES.

And oddly enough, I know three different people who played in that band, and none of them at the same times.

In cases such as this I generally start with the newest album and work backwards. Sometimes with luck you can get the entire discography of the band from the same distro.

With INQUISITION it's good to start with Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult or Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan.

I started my Inquisition journey with "Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan" and it's still timeless to me.

Thread jack number two for Inquisition's vocals. They are so quiet and distracting. I don't GET IT.

The vocals are perhaps the best part of Inquisition. Excellent and unique!
