for anyone who lives in the NYC area, Hospital Productions had at least 5 or 6 copies when i was there on Saturday. I also heard it's being repressed, so if you don't live in the area don't sweat it too much.

im flying to NYC, buying all the copies and selling them on ebay to pay for my plane ticket.

It'll cover the cop's fee to turn his cheek at the sight of the now-dead New York hookers and cocaine you also bought with all the money you got from the tapes.

Can anyone whose actually heard the tape give a brief review? All I've really heard about is hype, rather than any actual descriptions of the music.

similar pounding 1-2 1-2 beat as bone awl but more jangly guitars and creaking/ whispery vocals..there's some melody in there somewhere too, I think.

curious about the vucub cane tape, black/noise from mass? I can't believe it. We have mostly thrash, hardcore, and other bands like that around here.

It's fucking TERRIBLE. Must be a joke. I want to punch this fucking idiot in the face.

Listen at your own risk. Neither "black metal" nor "noise", just BAD. Fucking noobs.

That's quite a profit for a few minutes work, I must say. As great as this demo could be I think it's rather out-of-tune for it to be going for $ 50 five minutes after it was released.

As well as the Vucub Cane tape that went for $ 24, which (ironically enough) was also the same amount as the limitation of the demo was.

There's so much (good) music out there that people never get the chance to check out because of limitations. I hope these tapes get re-issued.

$24 Vucub Cane? Are you talking about WAR? That was $7, and yea, limited to 24. All sold out now (obviously) but you can grab it (and Raspberry) at my blog if anyone needs them.

Vucub Cane is kind of a joke, and I think the person who does the music doesn't take it all that seriously and neither should the fans. I like it, though. The first demo from 2008 is still his best.

Anyway, Raspberry Bulbs is pretty good but I think if you like Bone Awl simply from a Metal perspective then it won't be for you.

Apparently 'Teeth Gnashers' is also a Bone Awl side-project.
