I recently came across a release I bought a few years back of an old profound lore band called Wrath of the Weak. The sound was like a mix of power electronics, noise and black metal. Unfortunately that project is no more does anyone know of any similar acts?

Between this and the other PE thread I should find some cool shit. PE/Noise is something I've been into but never listened to, if that makes sense.

Basically it means I've been into making this shit myself since I first bought a fucking drum machine in 1998. Playing with distortion and feedback but Never really listening to other peoples stuff. It was always something I did but didn't search out from other people fucking smartass.

I interned at Asphodel for a bit but the shows at Bloody Angle were mostly drone and software based. Not straight up harsh noise.

Them, Pogromnacht, and Blackmoon Warrior 88 are killer. Black metal almost completely buried under power electronics.

Great list - also add Cloak of Altering and Aderlating onto that as well (two 'side' projects of Morice from GTT, both deliver equally in intensity)

Vegas Martyrs is one of my faves. Power electronics are awesome but by themselves I can find the 15 minute long tracks kind of redundant. Rather listen to something with instruments most of the time
