| It's been pretty fucking hot around the East Coast the last few days which raises the question....do you run the risk of damaging your cds by leaving them in a hot car? I usually leave a couple of boxes of sealed cds for my distro in the back seat and/or trunk, and they can get pretty hot...anybody had any problems with this? sealed or unsealed....what have you heard... and what do you think? |

Seriously though, like I mentioned before, you can DEFINITELY ruin your CDs by leaving them in the car while it's extremely hot... I learned this the hard way. |

Ha ha...
obviously if they are in direct sunlight, there's a good chance of them melting and/or warping...and with a disc thats open, it's easy to tell by just looking at it....
but my question is more about heat, .....and it's effects on sealed stuff...for example,if you send a box of cds across the country by UPS ground, they will be sitting in a boiling hot truck and UPS warehouse for at least a week...i dunno, this is what my mind does when i'm at work. |
